During the month of December, you might see Patrick in his most joyful pursuit, dressed in a red suit and sporting his white beard at many events during the holiday season.

Patrick B. Mason

Patrick is a founding member of Mason Zoccola Law Firm, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, probate litigation and corporate law. He is a native Memphian with two wonderful children, Peter and Colleen, and one grandchild, Lizzy.

Patrick earned an accounting degree in 1979 at the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctorate in 1986 at the Vanderbilt University School of Law. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1981 and has been practicing law for over 30 years in Memphis.

When he is not practicing law, Patrick loves playing tuba with the Mullins Community Orchestra, his home church's musical ensemble. A part of the Mullins UMC family for over fifty years, Patrick is one of the leaders of the church and invests much of his time in church activities.

In addition, Patrick is back in graduate school at night – attending Memphis Theological Seminary in pursuit of a Master of Divinity – while he continues his law practice. The pursuit of the MTS degree is his response to the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage he began in the summer of 2017, as he walked 500 miles across northern Spain. He hopes to return to Spain for a second pilgrimage in the summer of 2022, and he hopes to complete his MDiv before his 70th birthday in 2027.
