PATRICK B. MASON, ESQ.
Patrick is a founding partner of the Mason Zoccola Law Firm. He has been practicing as an estate planning and probate lawyer in the Memphis area since 1986. He focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning and probate, as well as estate-related litigation and business planning.
Patrick has one son, Peter (31), and one daughter, Colleen (29). He also has a beautiful granddaughter named Lizzie (18 months). Patrick is was born and raised in Memphis, where he attended Christian Brothers High School, class of 1975. Patrick earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 1979 from the University of Notre Dame, and he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1986 from Vanderbilt University School of Law. Patrick practiced as a Certified Public Accountant for 4 years in Atlanta, Georgia between completing his undergraduate work and starting law school. He is presently pursuing a Master’s in Divinity Degree at Memphis Theological Seminary. Pat hopes to complete the requirements for his Master’s Degree through night classes and online classes in 2022 but even in the course of obtaining his new degree, he vows that he will continue to practice law until he takes his last breath.
Patrick has several passions outside of work, including playing tuba, wearing the red suit in December as Santa, cheering on his Irish (especially during football season), and taking really, really long walks. No, seriously. Patrick completed the Camino de Santiago, which is a 500-mile spiritual pilgrimage across northern Spain in 2017. He has written a book called “Candle on the Camino” about his amazing experience during his journey. Patrick intends to complete Camino Dos in 2022, and hopes to be able to complete Camino Tres in 2027.
